If you were able to design a cigarette machine that dispensed one cigarette/day, would smoking negatively impact your health? Is it possible to design a 2 beer/day weight loss diet and meet your nutritional needs? How many calories would your favorite food have to contain for you to give it up?
Nutrition shouldn’t be all doom and gloom or a boring factual exercise. We need to have some fun with and explore what we think is and is not possible. In doing so we get to challenge some of the assumptions that we make about what we believe we can and cannot do. Personally, we think that it’s a lot of fun to perform these thought experiments.
